Liveries

In this game, car liveries are the most important piece of design. There are plenty of possibilities : do you want to drive a replica livery ? Or you might want to create your own livery, make it look realistic, like it could have existed somewhere, sometime on a racetrack in real life. A nice livery is the result of two factors : a good combination of colors and a good choice of stickers. It takes sometime to design a beautiful livery. To be recognized on the track, to make racing a beautiful sport, it's important to shine not only through your racecraft and overtakes - but also with a livery that will gain you the respect of your opponents.

Helmets

The helmet is generally discreet when racing a car. But sometimes, you will race open-wheel cars, such as Super Formula, F1500T-A, or a McLaren-Honda MP4, and they will expose your helmet. If you haven't painted it, you'll be a laughing stock ! And no one wants this to happen, so your helmet has to be painted too. Most legendary drivers had a unique helmet design : Senna's design is one of the most iconic, but Jacques Villeneuve, Michael Schumacher, Nelson Piquet, Damon Hill and Fernando Alonso also knew how to look different and unique on the asphalt. As a helmet is quite a small, spherical surface, it's hard to find the perfect design. You can always use a real racing driver's helmet as an inspiration.

Stickers

Stickers. They're essential to make your paintjob look like a real racing car livery. You will find a lot of stickers from famous brands already uploaded in the Discover section, but sometimes they're not. You will want to use a special geometrical shape not present in the base game, or too hard to describe with some tags to easily find it in the Discover section. That's why to have to know to sometimes design them by yourself. For this, you can use a vectoring software which will enable you to convert any image to a vector file ; you can also write stuff in a certain font and make it a GT7 sticker afterwards. The only limit is a maximum of 15 KB for the .svg file.

Scapes

Once your livery is ready to shine, it's a good idea to show it off in a driving environment. That's Scapes purpose. There, you have access to a variety of backgrounds to show off your favorite liveries. Museums, country roads, airports, deserts... Or you can even shoot a picture of your car during a race, with the replay feature ! You can even make your pilot stand next to your car in racing gear ; turn on your car's lights ; add dirt to your car or wear to it's tires.
